Welcome to REN Bookkeeping Canada. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our bookkeeping and accounting services (“Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.
Services Provided
REN Bookkeeping Canada offers a range of bookkeeping and accounting services, including but not limited to:
- Financial statement preparation
- Transaction recording and reconciliation
- Payroll processing
- Tax preparation and filing
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Compliance management
Our Services are designed to assist businesses with their financial management and reporting needs. The scope of our Services will be outlined in a separate service agreement or engagement letter, which will detail the specific services we will provide to you.
Client Responsibilities
To facilitate the provision of our Services, clients agree to:
- Provide Accurate Information: Ensure all information and documents provided to REN Bookkeeping Canada are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in your information.
- Timely Communication: We must respond to our requests for information or documents promptly to ensure we can provide our Services efficiently.
- Compliance with Laws: Ensure your business complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax reporting and financial recordkeeping.
Fees and Payment
- Fees: The fees for our Services will be outlined in a separate service agreement or engagement letter. Depending on the nature of the services provided, fees may be charged on a fixed, hourly, or project basis.
- Payment Terms: Payment terms will be specified in the service agreement or engagement letter. Typically, payment is due upon receipt of an invoice. Late payments may be subject to additional fees or interest charges.
- Expenses: You will be billed separately for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred in providing our Services, such as travel or third-party fees.
Confidentiality
- Client Information: REN Bookkeeping Canada is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your information. We will not disclose your financial information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or as necessary to provide our Services.
- Data Security: We implement reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. By using our Services, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Limitation of Liability
- No Guarantee of Results: REN Bookkeeping Canada does not guarantee specific results or outcomes from using our Services. We provide our Services based on the information and documentation you provide.
- Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, REN Bookkeeping Canada will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with our Services. Our liability for direct damages will be limited to the amount you paid for the Services in question.
Termination
- Termination by Client: You may terminate our Services at any time by providing written notice. Any fees for Services rendered up to the date of termination will be payable by the terms of the service agreement.
- Termination by REN Bookkeeping Canada: We may terminate our Services if you fail to comply with these Terms or if we cannot provide our Services due to circumstances beyond our control. We will provide you with written notice of termination.
Intellectual Property
- Ownership: All materials, documents, and intellectual property provided by REN Bookkeeping Canada while providing our Services remain our property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use these materials solely for your internal business purposes.
- Use of Marks: You may not use our trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property without our written consent.
Changes to Terms
REN Bookkeeping Canada reserves the right to update or modify these Terms anytime. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting them on our website. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario.
